They Want to Make 25 Times More from Kabali

It’s a known fact by now that superstar Rajinikanth’s 15th July release ‘Kabali’ has done tremendous pre-release business leaving the producers in safe zone as of now. The film’s Malaysian distributor ‘Malik Streams’ had spent RM 2 million for marketing the film.

The distributor is hoping to get 25 times more the amount he has spent on marketing the film. For this, he has flown the dubbing artists to Chennai to dub for the Malay version after a meticulous process of auditions to choose the dubbing artists.

Besides mimicry artist Arun Kumaran who was selected to dub for Rajinikanth’s character, 20 strong voice actors were selected for the dubbing process. While the Tamil and Telugu version of the film are going to release on 15th July, the Malay version will hit theaters on 22nd July.
