Malladi Vishnu appears in Vijayawada

Vijayawada City Congress President and Accused No.9 in the spurious liquor case, Malladhi Vishnu finally appeared in the city. Vishnu went to underground to evade arrest in the case and has disappeared for more than a month.

He filed a bail petition at a local court and the court instructed him to apppear before it. Vishnu will appear before Krishna Lanka Police tomorrow. The Police will ask him why he disappeared if he is not related to the case.

Eight were killed after consuming spurious liquor served in Swarna Bar in which Vishnu is a partner. While Vishnu denied having a share in the bar, he himself testified it in his affidavit filed for 2014 elections.
