NTR’s actress in Yamadonga, Mamata Mohandas is only known for glamorous roles and her husky voice for Telugu audiences, but she is known for Malayalam audiences as an actress who does intelligent roles which reflects her personality.

After putting up a great fight with cancer, the actress won the war and is spreading awareness about the disease. She had suffered from cancer, but she doesn’t want others to do so. Hence the actress isn’t giving much importance to her film career.

That doesn’t mean Mamata doesn’t have any offers. Her last film in Malayalam had been a blockbuster hit, but the actress chose other priorities and rejected some of the meaty roles which went to others. But she doesn’t care anymore. She is considered a thinking actress in Mollywood and hence is offered such roles. Her next film is with superstar Mammooty in ‘Thoppil Joppan’.
