Malayalam film Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles and directed by Girish A D, was released in theatres on August 21st and received super positive responses from audiences and critics alike.

Even though Bethlehem Kudumba Unit started its theatrical run with average collections, once the positive word of mouth started spreading, the film went on a rampage at the box office. Consequently, with just 11 days of its theatrical run, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has achieved more than 200 crores in worldwide collections and is now on track to reach the 300 crores mark.

With Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, actress Mamitha Baiju has achieved a hat-trick of 200 crore grossers, as her last two films, Jana Nayagan and Vishwanath and Sons, also grossed more than 200 crores at the box office.

Although Jana Nayagan was a commercial success, Mamitha Baiju faced severe trolling for her acting performance in the film. However, she made a dream comeback with Vishwanath and Sons and Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, where her performance was a major highlight of both films.

In response to Mamitha Baiju’s hat-trick 200 crore achievement, many people on social media suggest that she is the most promising actress among the current generation and has a huge possibility of becoming a Pan-Indian actress.

They note that what Mamitha Baiju has achieved is a dream for many top actresses and they believe that if she shapes her line-up perfectly and maintains this momentum, she will become one of the most sought-after actresses in Indian cinema.

At the same time, Jana Nayagan has collected more than 300 crores at the box office, whereas both Vishwanath and Sons and Bethlehem Kudumba Unit still have a strong hold and are running in theatres.

Therefore, it remains to be seen whether both films will continue their dream run and achieve the 300 crores mark, leading Mamitha Baiju to achieve a hat-trick of 300 crore grossers in the coming days.
