Manchu Lakshmi: We had the last laugh

The apex court of the country, Supreme Court of India gave the verdict that film actor Mohan babu can continue using his Padma Sri Award. Mohan Babu has filed an affidavit stating that the producer of ‘Denikaina Ready’ has used the credits of Padma Sri without their knowledge and hence they wouldn’t hereafter misuse the title.

Responding on the verdict, Manchu Lakshmi says that they had the last laugh. She opined that somebody who is envious of Mohan Babu wasted the time of the courts by filing an unnecessary case. She says justice always prevails. What is the use of a title when if it can’t be used? asks Lakshmi Manchu.

We know that earlier High Court has given verdict prohibiting Mohan Babu and comedian Brahmanandam from using Padma Sri based on the complaint that the duo had misused the title, and used it for commercial purpose in the title credits of ‘Denaikaina Ready’. Supreme Court ruled out High Court order allowing him to use the title hereafter.
