Director Maruthi has become a brand of his own post the super success of some of the films the director has been associated with. As a result he is one of the most sought after directors today with a number of producers ready to produce films with him. Kotha Janta will be the upcoming release of the director which stars Allu Sirish and Regina in the lead. The film has completed its shooting and is currently in the post production stage.
Meanwhile the director would be moving to the shooting of his new film Radha where for the first time he would be directing a top star. This Venkatesh and Nayanatara starrer film would be launched on February 6 and soon will start its shooting as well. DVV Danayya produces the film that comprises of regular technical crew of director Maruthi. The two films are very crucial for the director to jump into bigger league and also remove the obscene image attached to him as these are reportedly clean comedies in the line of Prema Katha Chithram.
