Megastar rejects Rs 50,000 monthly offer!

Well-known actors and Yash Bharti awardees Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan will now receive Rs. 50,000 per month as pension by the state government. According to the government’s latest scheme, beneficiaries of the Yash Bharti Award, an award given to distinguished people of the state excelling in fields like art, sports, literature, etc, will be granted an amount of Rs. 50,000 as pension.

However, Amitabh Bachchan, who originally grew up in Allahabad, U.P., showed his modesty and generosity when he requested the U.P. government to donate the amount given to him and his family by the state to charity.

The renowned Bollywood actor even said that he will write to Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav regarding the matter asking for the money to be given to any noble charity.
