Mindless Attack on ‘Bhaagamathie’

Almost all the moviegoers might be aware of the ongoing protests against ‘Padmaavat‘ and the heat is comparatively very less in the South States. In Tamil Nadu, one fringe group protested outside a theatre.

By chance, the theatre wasn’t screening Deepika Padukone’s ‘Padmaavat’ but Anushka Shetty’s Republic Day release ‘Bhaagamathie’. They mistook ‘Bhaagamathie’ as ‘Padmaavat’. The protestors picketed the screening of the movie without actually checking the movie that was being screened.

Many opine that the protestors should have used brain before taking up the protest. The only common thing about the two films is, Deepika Padukone is Bollywood’s top heroine and Anushka Shetty is Tollywood’s numero one. This proves how blindly some people follow orders without even thinking twice.
