Mixed Reviews on OTT For Mini Mallu Sensation

The Malayalam film Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey received extremely positive reviews from the Malayalam audience and the critics when it was released in October 2022. The film, made on a meager budget of 5 crores, created a sensation by collecting around 40 crores at the box office.

The film is now streaming on Disney+Hotstar, and audience from other states is also checking it out to know what the hype is all about.

Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey features Basil Joseph and darshan in lead roles. The movie tries to reveal some stark realities and perspectives that are still embedded in the social fabric and tamped down constantly by the so-called cultural protocols of the land.

While some are appreciating the humor, natural performances, and realistic setting of the film, others are saying the film is too slow and it gets boring by the time it ends. Especially many feel that it didn’t deserve the hype it got. Overall it’s a mildly entertaining family drama that drags and lags in parts.

Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey joins the list of films that were hugely appreciated in cinemas, but on OTT, they received mixed reactions.
