MLC Polls: TDP eyes the danger of extinction!

Telugu Desam Party drew one more blank in the MLC election results which are out a short while ago. The party took all the risks including touching the untouchable parties like Congress, to make its presence felt but nothing worked.

The party failed even in its strongholds like Rangareddy and Khammam, ringing the alarm bells. The party now faces the danger of getting politically marginalized unless it puts up good show in the upcoming GHMC elections.

TDP which is tradionally strong in Telangana than in Andhra, had suffered a lot since the Telangana issue intensified after 2009. The party never really recovered from that even after the state bifurcation. Now there are questions all over about its future.
