Murugadoss film gets a catchy title

Filmmaker A.R Murugadoss, who has teamed up with Vijay for the second time after ‘Thupaki’, has chosen a catchy title for his next film. The film has been titled ‘Kaththi’, which means sword in English. So after gun, it’s sword for Murugadoss. The film, which is currently on floors in Hyderabad, will release in cinemas this diwali.

Samantha has been paired with Vijay in the film, which is said to be a high-octane action film. Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh will be playing the lead in the film. While the title sounds cliched, it definitely sounds catchy for Vijay’s mass fan following. One shouldn’t be surprised if the title trends nationally on social networking platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. For Telugu release of this film, makers have no option but to choose a different title since Kalyan Ram’s Kathi was released not very long ago and bombed at box office.
