My body is my temple says Shruti Haasan

It’s common that audiences and critics give comments on the appearances of the actresses on screen. Many times if heroines go for skin show, they get all kind of comments for trying to get attention exposing their body. If they don’t go for skin show and try being traditional, clad in sarees, traditional kurtas and pyjamas, then some criticize saying being conservative wouldn’t fetch them big offers.

Coming to Shruti Haasan’s point of view, she feels that her body is like a temple for her. She opines that her dressing in the film depends on the character she essays for a particular film. She behaves her character and hence dresses up like the character. So, people who criticize her for the clothes she wear have no right to comment on what she chooses to wear.

She feels that it is all in the perception of the beholders eye what they think of her way of dressing. If they think plain, she looks good in their eyes. If they have wrong intentions, possibly even their thoughts on her looks will be wrong. In a recent interview, Shruti was seen particularly talking about the criticism on her skin show in her latest releases. Seems Kamal’s daughter has taken criticism on her way of dressing seriously this time.
