Akkineni Hero at a Crucial Stage

‘Majili’ did the trick for Naga Chaitanya who seemed to have been inconsistent mainly because of the choices he made. The super success of the film has definitely put him in a better position trade-wise. Naturally, his scores are high, and the market value is up. That’s a good sign for him.

His next movie that is lined up for release is ‘Venky Mama’ with his uncle Victory Venkatesh. This one is a potential one and the combination is going to get good opening numbers to continue the upper trend for the Akkineni hero that was given by ‘Majili’ success, and the box-office collections nearing Rs. 40 crore mark. Incredible improvement for Chay! What must he do keep us this trend for himself?

This particular stage in his career is going to be very crucial for Chay as a few good movies at this stage would help him to improve his openings at the box-office, and also increase his stature to grow as a star from here. The Akkineni scion has everything, i.e., both looks and can come up with decent performances. All he needs is script judgement. Hope, he takes a cue from his wife Samantha with regard to script selections.
