Love Story Makers Playing With Fire In Nizam!

Sekhar Kammula’s Love Story after much dilly-dallying is arriving on September 24. Ahead of the film release, the Telangana government has allowed ticket price hikes. With 100 percent occupancy, the prices have surged to Rs 150 for single screens and Rs 200 for multiplexes.

While the move seems to be an added advantage for Love Story makers, it may also act as a double edge sword. While Sekhar Kammula films are clean and an apt choice for the family audience, however theaters haven’t shown up to family audiences after the second wave.

Sekhar Kammula’s last flick Fidaa got unfathomable collections from Nizam. The Nizam region carries Sekhar Kammula’s brand. Although things have returned to normalcy, the grim situation cannot be ruled out.

In this regard, Asian Cinema going all out by themselves in releasing the film in Nizam holds crucial. It is to be seen if the film can churn out the same collections from the Nizam region as Fidaa did. On the other side, in Andhra Pradesh ticket pricing issue is yet to be resolved and the screening will happen only with 50 percent occupancy.
