Going into the story, M9.news team attended Amazon Prime’s ‘India’ event that was held in Mumbai today. Chaitanya’s supernatural horror series titled ‘Dhootha’ was launched at the event.
Dhootha, as mentioned earlier, is billed to be a horror series and it has Naga Chaitanya and Malayali actress Parvathy Thiruvothu in the lead roles. Vikram K Kumar is the director. Dhootha will be a Telugu-Tamil bilingual series.
Incidentally, Samantha had also made her OTT debut with Amazon Prime. She caught the attention of Indian OTT audience with The Family Man, an Amazon Prime original.
Now, Chay is also set to make his OTT debut with Amazon. It remains to be seen if his OTT career will also get off to a bright start, like how Samantha’s did.
