Nagarjuna Disappoints Prasanna Kumar?

It was all but confirmed that Nagarjuna would be working with writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada for a film which would mark the latter’s directorial debut. The film is inspired by Malayalam film Porinju Mariam Jose and it was the issue pertaining to Telugu remake rights were also solved and the stage is set for its commencement.

But this project has taken a new twist again and the producer of the same, Srinivasa Chitturi implied the same while he interacted with Telugu media as a part of Custody’s promotions.

While Srinivas was asked about the project, he confirmed it will definitely happen but when asked if Prasanna will be directing it, the producer stated this detail will be revealed at a later point.

Prasanna is a happening writer in Tollywood now and he got more attention and fame for writing recent blockbuster Dhamaka than the director Trinadha Rao. He hoped to make his directorial debut with Nag’s film but it appears to have hit a speedbump now.

M9.news understands that the script for Nag’s film is indeed being penned by Prasanna but there’s some confusion on the director. There’s no clarity on whether or not Prasanna will direct the film or if it’ll go to some other director.

If Prasanna doesn’t get to direct the project, it would mean that he would be mighty disappointed with the same after hoping to direct Nag for his maiden directorial. We will get more clarity on the same once the project heads to commence the shoot.
