Nag’s Hand in Most-Awaited Biopic

One of the most-awaited biopic and sports drama ’83’ is full-on with the promotions and publicity. Based on the iconic victory winning the Prudential Cup in 1983, ’83’ tells the saga of the underdogs aka the Indian Cricket team that made the country feel proud for winning the World Cup for the first time.

While the Bollywood version of the movie in Hindi is produced by three producers namely Madhu Mantena, Sajid Nadiadwala and Reliance Entertainment, Tollywood King Nagarjuna is presenting the Telugu version of the movie ’83’.

Nag feels proud to be presenting an iconic film based on the memorable win that made Cricket equal to religion in India.
This movie is the most-awaited one not only in India but also in the cricketing world. Annapurna Studios being a part of the film’s team shows how the makers are considering the importance the South market.

The Tamil version of the movie is being presented by Universal Star Kamal Haasan’s Raajkamal Films International. Bringing two superstars on-board for presenting the Tamil and the Telugu versions will add to the publicity campaign in the South languages.
