Is Akkineni Nagarjuna back to his old ways, that’s what fans of the star are thinking looking at the recent developments on Om Namo Venkatesaya. This devotional film which was earlier rumored to arrive for Sankranthi is now pushed back to February.

For years Nagarjuna had been releasing his movies in un-season periods like November or February apart from the favored Christmas slot in December. After years things took a turn when Soggade Chinni Nayana arrived for Sankranthi amidst heavy competition. It was followed by Oopiri and Naga Chaitanya’s Premam, which released amidst big competitions.

Fans were beginning to think that their star has finally realized the importance of releasing in seasons. But this latest development has spoiled their mood again. Will Om Namo Venkatesha arrive in February or will it move ahead by a month and arrive at a better time in March? We have to wait and see.
