Nagarjuna Confirms 1000Cr Project Rumour

Ever since the 1000 Cr Malayalam movie starring Mohan Lal has been announced, there is widespread speculation regarding the casting of the film. Buzz from the beginning is that stars from various industries will be part of it and Nagarjuna was at the forefront.

Akkineni Nagarjuna has now officially confirmed that he was indeed approached for the Malayalam epic undertaking of Mahabharatha based on the novel Randamoozham. He was approached to play Karna.It is still early stages of talk, and nothing is official as of now. But it confirms the maker’s idea of pan-India stars being part of the project.

Shrikumar Menon will helm The Mahabharatha, tentative title of the film. Currently, the director is making a big budget action film Odiyan with Mohan Lal in the lead. It is like a big test for him before working on The Mahabharatha.
