Nag’s Heroine Chose Nikhil after Rejecting 40 Films

Nagarjuna’s fan can easily remember his film ‘Chandraleka’ in which a new girl with big eyes, Isha Koppikar came to Tollywood. That was 18 years ago. Once again, the actress is making a comeback to Telugu Film Industry alongside the young hero, Nikhil Siddharth.

She isn’t playing heroine but a cop in this movie titled ‘Keshava”. Ritu Varma of ‘Pelli Choopulu‘ fame is going to romance Nikhil while Isha Koppikar is playing a typical Hollywood kind of cop role, clad in shirts and trousers, not khakhi. She has been training in marshal arts for the action sequences in the movie.

Isha reveals that she rejected nearly 40 films in different languages. Finally, she chose ‘Keshava” as her comeback movie after a sabbatical of 5 years after marriage, pregnancy and motherhood. Apart from action, the actress’ character has a lot of comedy part to deliver. So it’s action and comedy for Nag’s heroine in her comeback movie.
