Naidu’s most difficult road to achieve Capital dream

The Singapore experts team will be submitting the Master Plan of Andhra Pradesh’s upcoming capital, Amaravathi in the last week of May or early June. The government will then push global tenders for the master developer. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will be traveling abroad to attract the developer explaining the investment opportunities in Amaravathi.

It is going to be a strenuous job for Naidu as most of the constructions are based on Public Private Partnership model or through funding of Overseas Development Agencies. Singapore and Japan governments have already evinced their interest in developing the capital.

Naidu wants some of the buildings to be completed within a year of starting work and the first phase capital works are to be completed before 2019 elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the representatives of the Singapore and Japan governments will be invited for the foundation-laying function of the capital.
