Nandamuri ‘Simha’m Is Sankranthi Winner

It is just a day, but it can be said that Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Jai Simha will be the big movie for Sankranthi 2018 that will be a winner. It might not be a big grosser for the senior star though as word of mouth is not up to the mark.

The opening day collection of the Balakrishna starrer is very good. It has collected around seven crores. It is slightly lesser than Paisa Vasool, the last release of Balakrishna. However, there was the combination factor for the previous movie, unlike Jai Simha which is made by KS Ravi Kumar. The commercial entertainer is going to be a breakeven venture in a couple of territories for sure which makes it a winner.

Overall, Sankranthi 2018 can be counted among the worse festival year for movies as there would be no clear hit money-spinning film. We have to see how the last release of Sankranthi fares coming up in a day.
