Mokshagna’s debut may involve extensive VFX work
Mokshagna’s debut film with Vasishta has already created huge curiosity, but a new buzz around the project is now raising a different question. Film Nagar talk suggests that more than 40 percent of the film could involve high-end VFX and graphics work.
That is an interesting detail considering Vasishta is coming from Vishwambhara, a socio-fantasy that has gone through a lengthy production and post-production journey. The Chiranjeevi starrer was launched in 2023 and its extensive VFX work has been repeatedly linked to the prolonged delay in bringing the film to theatres. Even now, the project’s release timeline remains a talking point.
Now, Vasishta has once again chosen a large-scale socio-fantasy world for Mokshagna’s debut. If the latest 40 percent-plus VFX buzz turns out to be accurate, the director has another technically demanding project on his hands.
Nobody can say that Mokshagna’s film will take as long as Vishwambhara, but the comparison is bound to come up. A VFX-heavy film needs extensive rendering, corrections and finishing before the final version is ready.
For Mokshagna, the big challenge will be maintaining the promised visual scale without turning another Vasishta project into a long wait for release.
