Nani – Back to square one!

After the blockbuster success of Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi which minted north of 25 Cr at the box office, is actor Nani back to square one with Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha? The collections of the film so far suggest so.

Nani’s latest film releasing after a blockbuster film was expected to do much better than what it is doing. KVPG has minted a meager 6 Cr worldwide share for the opening weekend, again as we have reported earlier it was largely helped by overseas. This is clearly not what was expected by trade with a big banner like 14 Reels Entertainment backing it.

Admittedly there is no alarming drop but the way it’s progressing at box office right now KVPG is looking at doubling the opening weekend in its full run, in the best case scenario. With a Mohan Krishna Indraganti cinema to follow, one fears that the leap of stardom taken by Nani through BBM could be nullified.
