Looks like Nani has got another promising subject in his kitty, the remake of Tamil unreleased movie ’96’ starring Trisha Krishnan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. According to the reports, Dil Raju who heard a lot about the movie met the movie’s team and even watched the movie before release. The producer was impressed with the movie and bought the remake rights.

He thought that Nani and Samantha would fit into the lead characters perfectly and so got them to watch the movie in Chennai. Nani broke down after watching some scenes in the movie.
