Nani’s Film Makes Him Sleepless & Anxious

Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor posted a series of tweets on his Twitter wall talking about his anxiety and nervousness before beginning the shoot of his next movie, the Hindi remake of Nani’s critically acclaimed ‘Jersey’.

He says that he finds strength in weak characters and vulnerability in strong characters. Maybe, this understanding about his characters has got him to the right place when he did ‘Kabir Singh’, a flawed and deeply troubled character.

He just gave the biggest blockbuster of his career with a Telugu remake grossing Rs 260 crores at the box-office. A huge amount for a hero like him. So, he is naturally gearing up to continue the success streak with another Hindi remake of a Telugu film ‘Jersey’.

The shooting is going to begin today and one can understand his state of mind when he said that he was having sleepless nights as he takes every character as a challenge.

There is a good chance that this remake might turn a bigger hit and impress the Bollywood audiences. The original movie got a lot of critical acclaims but it couldn’t impress with the numbers at the box-office.
