Nani Follows The Suit

After the prolonged delay of the covid second wave, like many others Nani’s historic drama, Shyam Singha Roy came to a halt. The film has now followed suit like many other filmmakers. With the lockdown restriction revoked, the final shoot of Shyam Singha Roy commenced today.

As the film has been delayed over a long period, Nani is said to complete the last leg of SSR in a single schedule. The film would also require good post production time, so the actor wants to get it wrapped in time with no further delays.

SSR is set against the backdrop of Kolkata, thus the film will comprise the Bengali architecture, for which the team has built a massive set of Rs 6 crores in a sprawling 10-acre land, Unfortunately, the rains had damaged the sets and the team had to rebuild again. SSR is directed by Taxiwala fame Rahul Sankrityan.

SSR carries a huge buzz with the track record Nani has and also with the female leads. Sai Pallavi’s films are often termed as content-driven and Krithi Shetty’s presence after Uppena success has doubled the craze for SSR. Apart from SSR, Nani has Tuck Jagadish’s awaiting for release, and then Vivek Athreya’s Ante Sundariniki.
