“Is My Father a Villain Too?” Asks Nani

Nani had an interesting response when a question about Kayadu Lohar’s character in The Paradise came up at the Bengaluru press meet.

Kayadu’s character is seen smoking in the film, and a reporter asked whether that makes her the villain. Nani immediately questioned the idea.

He pointed out that smoking alone cannot decide whether someone is good or bad. Nani then brought up his own father, saying that he also smokes and asking, “Is he a villain too?”

The comment came as Nani was talking about the characters in The Paradise. He made it clear that there is more to Kayadu’s character than just the smoking habit shown in the film.
