Nani and director Srikanth Odela are currently in Chennai promoting their upcoming film The Paradise. However, Kayadu Lohar, who plays the female lead, has been completely absent from the promotions so far.
Kayadu Lohar did not attend the Telugu promotional event and has also been missing from the group interviews. Her absence has naturally caught attention.
During the Chennai promotions, Tamil media asked Nani why Kayadu was nowhere to be seen. Nani replied that she was busy shooting for Mari Selvaraj’s film. He then added, “She has to make a great film for the ‘Tamil’ audience, that’s why she couldn’t come!”
However, Nani’s response sounded slightly sarcastic, with noticeable stress on the word Tamil. His “manufactured” reply further added fuel to the ongoing rumors about Kayadu Lohar in the industry.
There is speculation that Kayadu is not happy with how director Srikanth Odela has shaped her character in The Paradise. At the same time, none of these reports have been officially confirmed. Kayadu has a growing fan following among the youth, and her presence alongside Nani during the promotions would have definitely added some glamour and extra buzz to the film.
