This is a great feat by itself and most of his movies ended their run near the break-even number. There is a liking for his films in the US and hence, the buyers are okay to shell good priced for Nani’s movies.

Nevertheless, the high prices for Nani’s movies have become a worry for buyers in the US. Why? The higher the selling prices of a movie to the buyers, the star’s reputation will be at stake as the break-even figure would be higher. If we look at ‘Jersey’ that is running with good talk, the collections of the movie haven’t crossed the break-even figure, yet. The film was initially expected to reach $2 million with great ease but now touching the break-even figure is a big deal.

The higher prices will dent into the reputation of the star over a period if the same trend continues. ‘Jersey’ is yet to break-even and meanwhile, we came to know that his next movie ‘Gang Leader’ break-even would easily be more than $1.5 million. That implies, ‘Gang Leader’ was bought for a higher price than ‘Jersey’.
