Talk: Nani’s Risky Experiments

Vishwak Sen’s HIT had released across the globe on Friday. The movie which is a thriller has got okay talk and reviews. It has to be seen how it performs at the Box Office. Result aside, the movie is a different attempt by Nani who is the producer of the film.

Nani is one of the star heroes of Tollywood and will have some issues to experiment with his films. There are some expectations in the audience and trade when it comes to star films. Despite Nani trying to experiment within those limitations, he is still far away from being called experimental.

Nani seems to pass on such scripts to his Production House. In the process, he is also encouraging new talent. Awe! is a completely out-of-the-box idea. Even though Hit is not an out-of-box concept, a star hero making the film on a larger canvass is something novel.

A few people have attempted thrillers without songs in the past but could not get enough visibility. Nani making this film will give the much-needed visibility to such films and hopefully more of them with even interesting concepts may emerge in Tollywood.
