Nani’s Big Paradise Request: Will Revanth Reddy Allow?

Nani seeks permission for premiere

After the tragic stampede during the Pushpa 2 premiere at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, Tollywood stars have become more cautious about attending public screenings and premieres.

Now, Nani has made a request to the Telangana government ahead of The Paradise premiere. The film is releasing on September 24, with premieres scheduled to begin tomorrow night.

Nani took to X and addressed Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and the Telangana Police. He requested permission to attend The Paradise premiere at an RTC X Roads theatre on September 23.

Nani said watching films with audiences has always been special to him. He also said RTC X Roads has a special place in Hyderabad’s cinema culture and that he wants to experience The Paradise with the same audience for whom the film was made.

He stressed that the team would follow all safety rules and protocols. For Nani, the satisfaction of making a film comes from sitting among the audience and experiencing their response first-hand.

Now, it remains to be seen whether the Telangana government will give him permission.

If permission is granted, the bigger question will be about the security arrangements. RTC X Roads is one of Hyderabad’s busiest cinema hubs, and The Paradise is carrying tremendous hype. Nani’s presence at a premiere could attract a massive crowd around the theatres and surrounding roads.

After what happened during the Pushpa 2 premiere, the Telangana Police will have to be extremely careful if Nani is allowed to attend. Crowd control, traffic management, theatre entry and exit points, barricading and security around the venue will all become important.

Nani wants to experience The Paradise with his fans. But if that happens, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the premiere safely will have to be the first priority.
