Will Second Set of Movies Revive the Banner?

Mythri Movie Makers had an enviable start with back-to-back three blockbusters with top heroes of Telugu Film Industry. After the hat trick blockbusters, the producers came with the first set of films with ‘Savyasachi’ and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ featuring the second league actors and we know the result. The above-said two movies were huge disappointments for the producers.

So, the first set of movies didn’t work and Mythri Movie Makers have a series of the second set of films in the making aka ‘Dear Comrade’ with Vijay Deverakonda, ‘Chitralahari’ with Sai Dharam Tej and the Telugu remake of Tamil movie ‘Theri’ with Ravi Teja under Santosh Srinivas direction. All these movies will be coming in 2019, most probably in the first half of the year.

Now, the makers are going to come with an important announcement and that is expected to be the title of Nani’s movie they are going to produce to be directed by Vikram Kumar. With a disappointing first set of films, will the second set of movies revive the banner that made an enviable stat but then, was hit by two flops in a row? We are not going to know anytime soon and let’s wait till their next movie comes to the theatres.
