Nani’s Film Locks OTT Platform For Direct Release

Hero Nani had a couple of direct to OTT releases – V and Tuck Jagadish during the pandemic. Another one of his films, not the one featuring him, but the one he is producing is heading for direct OTT release now.

Nani’s production venture, Meet Cute which is being directed by his sister Deepthi Ganta is apparently on course for a direct to OTT release. It is heard that the film’s direct to OTT rights were acquired by Netflix.

Meet Cute is a Telugu anthology film featuring Satyaraj, Shiva Kandukuri, Deekshit Shetty, Ruhani Sharma, Adah Sharma, Varsha Bollamma, and others in important roles.

Anthologies are better suited for OTT viewing and Nani appears to have understood the same, hence the direct to OTT release prospect. But it isn’t yet confirmed if Meet Cute will be directly premiering on Netflix.

Meet Cute will apparently be based on 5 different stories. Bulganin is composing the music for the film while Vasanth Kumar is handling the cinematography.
