Narayana Murthy’s NO to NTR’ Temper

Can anyone be foolish enough to decline a well-etched role in a Puri Jagannadh’s film opposite young tiger NTR? Call it foolishness or unwillingness to come out of the comfort zone, it is reality that revolutionary film maker-actor R.Narayana Murthy turned down one such role offered to him by creative director Puri Jagannadh.

Though Narayana Murthy liked the role offered to him initially, later he declined it after a second thought. He seems to be unwilling to come out of the off beat genre revolutionary movies, the unique brand he created for himself in the industry. As per the source, he turned even the hefty amount offered to him for the role.

Narayana Murthy, made films with leftist ideology for the downtrodden sections of the society who had been suffering with poverty and discimination since long because of the barriers created by the powerful and the landlords. Though he was said to be old-fashioned regarding choosing the subjects for his films, his genuine approach and dedication were never questioned and turning down a special offer from Puri itself speaks tons about Narayana Murthy’s genuinity.
