Trailer Talk: An Emotional Drama Centred On Classical Dance

The final trailer of Natyam is out as the movie gears up for release in a week. It is an emotional drama that is primarily centred on classical dance.

Sandhya Raju, a Kuchipudi dancer, is playing the lead role in Natyam. She fits the movie perfectly as it is about the classical dance form. However, we still do not get clarity on what the core story could be about?

We see a lot of footage in temple backdrop, a village head sort of figure and so on. It suggests a theme related to the location and also the setting. But, nothing is known on the actual premise. It is good in a way as an air of ambiguity would provide the necessary intrigue for the movie. It could push an audience interested in the theme to go to cinemas.

The casting comprises of few known faces like Adithya Menon, Kamal Kamaraju, and Subhalekha Sudhakar. We have to see how critical they would be to narrative apart from Sandhya Raju.
