Some even started praising before the film was released, citing special screenings. But the audience reaction appears to be completely different.

According to audience reactions, Hi feels like a routine love story. The screenplay and treatment are being called outdated, while the comedy and emotional scenes have also failed to connect with many viewers. One X user even called it “a boring, lifeless movie” and accused influencer groups of creating fake hype around the film.

This has once again brought influencer reviews into focus. Twitter and Instagram influencers are playing a major role in early movie discussions these days, and their opinions can influence audiences before proper reviews and word of mouth arrive.
