February month has been very crucial for Nani. It was in February 2014 that he was completely down and out with back to back disastrous outings. Again a year later he had mixed results. It all turned around for him with Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi and since then he has not been looking back.
Today, he has reached a stage where his presence evokes a minimum guarantee entertainment for the audience who visit the theater. This general impression got a broader audience via Dil Raju production and today he is seen as one of the rare outsiders to make it big.
Coming back to the question, has he finally arrived and there is no looking back? We have to say he has indeed arrived and there is no looking back. All he has to do is pick the right subject and maintain variety. It can’t be either complete variety or completely commercial, there has to be a midway. Also, he has to know what a “real” success is and shouldn’t be deceived by one that is very luring and easy way. A Nenu Local sort of success with such a film might not happen again, expectations increase.
Remember a Chiranjeevi or Ravi Teja didn’t become stars so quickly, they worked hard for it and their growth happened in a phased manner. If that is in the mind, then all is well.
