New Releases Fail To Open Well

More than ten films released in cinemas yesterday. Among them, few movie failed to even minimum occupancy levels, and the shows had to be canceled.

Among the notable releases, Balakrishnudu, Mental Madhilo, and Napoleon none of them had what can be qualified as decent openings. Among the three Mental Madhilo had better word of mouth, but the film also had poor numbers throughout the day. We have to see if things improve going further.

The situation has been same in the US. As expected, Mental Madhilo is leading, but it isn’t anything significant. A big turnaround over the weekend can turn the tide in its favor. Will that happen? We have to wait and see.
