Nikhil Beats Rajinikanth and Prabhas To Enter Top 10

Hero Nikhil and director Chandoo Mondeti’s devotional cum adventure thriller, Karthikeya 2, is unstoppable at the ticket windows. Even during the fourth weekend, the film witnessed good occupancy not only in Telugu states but also in the North belt.

The film has crossed Rs 110 crore gross and is still continuing its momentum at the worldwide box office. In North, the Hindi version of Karthikeya 2 started on a slow note, but now it has emerged as one of the top grossers among the South films in Hindi.

As per the box office figures, to date, Karthikeya 2 collected over Rs 28 crore net and entered the top 10 list of biggest grossers among the south films in Hindi by overtaking some big films like Rajinikanth’s Kabali, Robot, and Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam.

Its next target is KGF Chapter 1, which did around 44 crores in its Hindi version, but as Brahmastra will be releasing this week, Nikhil’s dream of beating Yash will remain a distant dream.
