Nikhil’s highly ambitious visual spectacle Swayambhu, directed by Bharat Krishnmachari and produced by Bhuvan Sagar on massive scale is said to be eyeing Summer release from proposed 13th February date. According to insiders, the film is now being positioned for a release on April 10th. This adjustment is reportedly due to the extensive VFX work involved in the project, as the makers are determined to refine every frame before it hits the big screen.
In a bid to achieve a world-class visual standard, the production house has engaged renowned international VFX companies. Rather than rushing the process, the focus remains on delivering a never-seen-before epic experience that justifies the film’s scale. These high-end collaborations are intended to ensure that the fantasy elements of the movie meet the rising expectations of modern moviegoers.
Opting for an April 10th debut is seen by many industry veterans as a smart tactical move. The summer holidays are traditionally the most lucrative window for films of this genre, allowing families and younger audiences more opportunities to visit the theaters. If these reports hold true, Swayambhu will be arriving at a time when the demand for high-quality entertainment is at its peak.
Rabi Basrur is composing music for the film with Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh in the leading lady roles. KK Senthil Kumar has handled cinematography and the makers will make an official confirmation regarding new release date very soon, say insiders.
