Pic Talk: Character Steals The Spotlight

After a long wait, the fans of Anushka are finally getting what they want. It is a new role from the actress in a new avatar, at the same time. The first look of Nishabdham provides it all, and there is more.

Anushka is introduced as Sakshi from Nishabdam. The first look showcases the character she plays in the movie, which is that of a painter. However, it is – ‘A mute artist’ part that instantly registers and steals the limelight.

The combination of a mute person and an artist is unique. It gives a feeling that she speaks through her work, which works both literally, as part of the narrative and figuratively, answering the critics. No wonder the fans have lapped it up.

Nishabdam is a multi-language movie that is going to have a pan-India and international release. Kollywood star Madhavan plays the hero whereas Hollywood actor Michael Madson will be seen in a critical role. Anjali, Shalini Pandey and Subbaraju round up the rest of the cast of the movie.
