Actress Playing Two Heavy Roles

After ‘Mahanati’, the biopic fever has caught the South Film Industry and among the many biopics that are being made, the biopic on legendary NTR is the most discussed one in Tollywood. Nitya Menen is roped in for playing Savithri’s role in ‘Gundamma Katha’ episode of ‘NTR’. Keerthy Suresh did a fantabulous job as Savithri and we know that there is a great chance for Nitya Menen to be equally impressive.

There also had been a talk that Nitya Menen was the first choice for ‘Mahanati’ as well but things didn’t work out. Here in ‘NTR’, it would be a brief role as Savithri and Nithya Menen is known to give her 100% for every role she plays. Besides this heavy role, Nitya would be playing the titular role in ‘The Iron Lady’, the biopic on Jayalalitha. This is going to be Nithya’s prestigious project and one must agree that it is quite a heavy role to portray with conviction on the screen.

In ‘NTR‘ it’s a brief role for Nithya but in Jayalalitha’s movie, it would be a full-fledged role for the actress. It’s interesting that the makers of both the biopics hadn’t announced Nithya’s name officially. NTR biopic news is officially confirmed, though. But, Jayalaitha’s role is still a buzz and there is a lot of time before the movie actually goes on to the sets in February 2019. Nithya is seen not doing many films and hope, these two heavy roles will bring her back into the news, very soon.
