Allu Arjun’s Pushpa is arriving on Christmas this year. The team made the announcement recently and ended the speculations on the release date. However, it also cast a spell of doubt if it is going to witness a box-office tussle as KGF 2 also planned for the same arrival date during the festive season.

While KGF 2 is yet to announce the release date, but strong buzz is that the team is unfazed with Pushpa 2 and has plans to lock horns with Allu Arjun’s film. If reports are to go by, then KGF 2 team has plans for December 20 release. The reason for KGF 2 going ahead in the same month may be due to sentiment as the first part was released on Christmas and the rest is history.

Meanwhile, KGF 2 team is uber-confident about its craze and the popularity it has generated. Undoubtedly, post KGF release, the film catapulted Yash and the maker to nationwide fame. With the humongous box-office success at the national level, KGF 2 undoubtedly commands more anticipation than Pushpa at the pan-Indian level.

KGF 2 shoot has long back been wrapped up. The team had plans to release the film in July but with the grim situations it kept getting postponed. And now Christmas seems to be the ideal spot for the team. We have to wait on the official announcement soon too.
