No Noise, VD Doing It Silently This Time

The last film of Vijay Deverakonda in the lead was Dear Comrade. It was a grand release across entire South India and wasn’t just restricted to the Telugu cinema.

The one before that (excluding the delayed Taxiwala), NOTA too was a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil. The point here is that Vijay Deverakonda became a hot property overnight post the phenomenal success of Arjun Reddy. Then Geetha Govindam gave him immense push commercially to go for a pan-South India release. NOTA and Dear Comrade were the results.

Sadly, the two turned out to be turkeys in other languages. Dear Comrade especially was abysmal commercially besides Telugu, where also it was a disaster.

The impact can be felt on his upcoming release World Famous Lover. Are you aware that the movie is also getting a simultaneous release in Tamil and Malayalam? The singles are out in those languages along with posters, as well. However, it is all happening silently, and no noise is made about it.

World Famous Lover is slated to release all over on February 14th for Valentine’s Day. Kranthi Madhav directs the movie. Creative Commercial banner produces the romantic entertainer. The theatrical trailer of the unique love story will be out on February 6th.
