No panic but setback for Lingaa producer

In what can be termed as minor setback for the producers of Lingaa, Madras Civil Court after hearing the petitioner case today has asked the makers to submit rupees 10 Cr to the court by afternoon tomorrow.

A case was filed earlier in November by KR Ravi Ratnam whereby he alleged that the makers of Lingaa has stolen his story based on which he was making a film called Mullai Vaanam 999. If Lingaa releases earlier with same story his film will stand to lose whatever it could and hence it should be stopped from release was his position. The hearing took lots of turns and finally this is where it has come to.

Speaking about this legal hassle producer of the film assured the fans that there would be no problem with the release. They would abide the court law but the film would release on time as has been decided, concluded Rockline Venkatesh.
