
A case was filed earlier in November by KR Ravi Ratnam whereby he alleged that the makers of Lingaa has stolen his story based on which he was making a film called Mullai Vaanam 999. If Lingaa releases earlier with same story his film will stand to lose whatever it could and hence it should be stopped from release was his position. The hearing took lots of turns and finally this is where it has come to.
