No Threat From Rana – Local Managers

With the kind of talent management company Daggubati Rana has floated and the kind of schema the team has worked out, Tollywood and other South Film Industries are probably going to witness a new phenomenon in terms of wider business perspectives.

So, if Rana’s company KWAN takes up the task of handling artists’ dates, projects, and remuneration, what will happen to the managers and PRs who are presently looking into the dates and projects of the artists? Are those managers feeling threatened that they would be bid goodbye totally?

According to the managers, new talents might like to go to Rana‘s company as that would fetch offers. But for stars, this model wouldn’t work for the time being as star actors and actresses need personal attention in handling dates.

Moreover, there always would be some changes or the other in the shooting schedules of films and hence the dates could be better handled by managers rather than a talent management company is the opinion of the managers. As of now, they don’t consider Rana’s idea as a threat, though he is likely to get more and more talents to work with him.
