No Threat from Sasaikala – Gautami Opens up

Gautami had been one of the strongest voices who raised questions on the death secrecy of the deceased Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha. Are there any political threats for her from Sasikala for raising her voice against the entire process of Jayalalitha’s illness and death?

Though she raised her voice, Gautami doesn’t think that there would be any political threats for her from Sasikala. “We can ask such questions in Tamil Nadu and we fear no threats,” said Gautami in her recent interview. Is she trying to be the voice of BJP on the issue?

Prior to Jalalitha’s demise, the senior actress met Modi for a social cause. After Jayalaitha’s death, she wrote a letter to Modi questioning the entire process of maintaining secrecy. She opines that her prior meeting with Modi has nothing to do with her present demand to reveal the details of Jayalalitha’s medication and death.
