No VIP Treatment Postpones VIP2 Release

The Tamil movie scenario is a mess currently and what better example can be given than the plight of the release of the upcoming Dhanush starrer VIP 2. The film’s release is now postponed to August. The producers along with director Soundarya Rajinikanth shared the news to followers.

It might look silly, but the reason for the postponement of VIP 2 is said to be the delay in Censor work. In Tamil film industry the government is getting the Censor formalities of the movies complete on first come first serve basis. It doesn’t matter if the film is big or small or if high stakes are involved. There is no VIP treatment.

Since there are many films in the queue to get Censored from a long time, the makers of VIP 2 had no other choice but to delay the release. Well, they should have understood the predicament and sent the film to Censor earlier. VIP 2 will now arrive in first half of August once the Censor is complete.
