“None Have Guessed Story Of Indian 2 & Indian 3”

Shankar’s 1996 blockbuster, Indian, starring Kamal Haasan in dual roles as the patriotic Senapathy and his corrupt son Chandru, left an indelible mark on Indian cinema.

Now, in 2024, Indian 2 continues this legacy with Senapathy returning at the age of 106, grappling with the resurgence of corruption in the country.

The recent trailer for Indian 2 has evoked a mixed response. But in a promotional interview, Kamal Haasan made some interesting comments that have triggered expectations among the audience.

He disclosed that he not only reprises his iconic role as Senapathy but also portrays Senapathy’s father in a flashback storyline in Indian 3—a role previously unseen in this cinematic universe.

“I have seen many theories circulating on Twitter, but none have guessed the story of Indian 2 & Indian 3, and I’m pleased about that,” Kamal Haasan remarked during the interview, hinting at the layered narrative and surprises in store.

Anirudh Ravichander’s Paaraa song in Indian 2 is anticipated to feature a young version of Kamal Haasan’s third character, Senapathy’s father, who serves as a significant inspiration to the protagonist.

Indian 3 is expected to delve deeper into the backstory of Senapathy’s father, serving as a prequel that sheds light on his pivotal role in shaping Senapathy’s ideals and actions.

Indian 2 is slated for release on July 12, 2024, promising audiences a compelling continuation of the saga with Kamal Haasan’s multifaceted performances and Shankar’s visionary direction.
